Iʼm light on technique. I find what works and stick with it, hardly realizing that years have passed with little in the way of new approaches having been adopted. I experiment with different mediums but return to the basics of good paint and trusting my response to it. Patience is important. If I can tolerate the discomfort of not being facile while trying new things, then eventually I may benefit.
